From a very generalised analysis, girls tend to feel that guys make better friends. Guys can be easier to talk to and they're loyal -- they don't blurt out your secrets or talk behind your back (unless he's telling his guy friends that you're "hot"!). However, nothing replaces having a girl's night out, or a best friend who you spend hours with -- gossiping, exchanging clothes, making prank calls to cute guys with and having pyjama-parties. You may have conflicts and intense moments of jealousy, but talking it out -- to her and not someone else! -- makes the friendship a lot stronger. Even though some girls backbite, others gossip a lot and almost all whine - it doesn't seem as bad as breaking someone's bones just for staring!

1. Your buddy hits on a girl you have a crush on. You even admitted your feelings for her. so it's not like he didn't know. You confront him and get into a fight.
2. She picked your pal over you. The friendship between you and your pal soon transforms into a "hi-bye" case or you may just end up in a fight.
3.A girl at the club can't seem to find a public phone, so you offer her your mobile phone and she hugs you to express gratitude. You end up fighting with the guy she came with.
4. You can't stand your best friend's girlfriend. You don't see who in their right mind would go out with her. But your pal doens't see what you see and, slowly things between the two of you get awkward (or you may get into a fight).

Some guys feel that girls make better friends because they are better listeners and have a lot to gossip to share. But, then again, there's nothing live having your guy pal who knows the importance of making it home in time for the football match. It's belived that guys go into denial when there is a problem, but the truth is, some guys don't see the need to make it a big issue -- unless it involves their ego! Even though guys are generally more hot-tempered and fight a lot, most of them settle their issues there and then, instead of bottling it up and being a hypocrite.
